The Mammoth Micro Makeover Offer

On the bad side this is two weeks later than I planned it.
On the PLUS side that means more giveaways for you!

Our last makeover was all about making over one curvy chick- Samantha.

THIS TIME THIS BIG PRIZE COLLECTION IS GOING TO BE SEPARATED OUT TO MAKE LOTS OF LITTLE PRIZES

It was awesome because we got to give one person an awesome outfit valued at over $600 dollars.
But it’s getting closer to Christmas and so I wanted to give you all a chance to win something.

So this is a collection of little treats- and by entering you go into a draw to win one of these prizes.

How to Win

All you need to do is post one thing you do to feel a little more luxurious.

Prizes are going to be allocated randomly… and if you want more than one chance it’s easy- I’m going to be watching twitter for anyone retweeting the makeover, and they’ll get an entry too. You’ll also get an extra entry of someone tells me on THEIR entry that you referred them (can just tell me your twitter or facebook name)

That’s it! It’s easy- and the prize can either be for you- or a gift for someone you love!

THIS IS NOT FOR ONE BIG PRIZE- I’m separating out the treats to make more people win something- more fun!

THIS GIVEAWAY CLOSES 9PM 29th November- giving you time to arrange to uses it yourself- OR regift it for Christmas

*Please do mention whether you are in Auckland or not- and I’ll try to take that into consideration!

Here are the prizes…

The Mammoth Micro Makeover Prizes

trilogy aromatic body oilTRILOGY MASSAGE OIL

I love trilogy. I actually only ever got into looking after my skin after buying some rosehip oil to try and get rid of some scarring on my arm. Loved it, and began to use it on my face. It’s now part of my regular skin care routine- and a favourite gift for people as well.

This aromatic blend of pure plant oils smoothes and softens even the driest skin.

A lightweight ‘dry’ oil blend of seven of nature’s most nutritious and nourishing pure plant oils. Formulated to be super-fast absorbing and moisturising, this delicate aromatic oil conditions and protects long after application. Beware; this product is addictive!

A MASSAGE FOR TWO AT EASE PONSONBY

Sit down with a cup of chai and be massaged into bliss at Ease

Sit down with a cup of chai and be massaged into bliss at Ease

This is my personal favourite of massage treats- and one I indulge in as often as I can. I’ve given one of these away on my site before- and the winners LOVED it.

The cool thing about Ease is that it’s fully clothed, and set up in the traditional Thai way- you get your feet massaged, then your arms, and finally your neck and shoulders.

This prize is for two half hour massages and valued at $80 (for the two.)

It’s a perfect thing to do with a partner, a best friend, a mother or a daughter. You can even book and send an e-voucher for people on their website.

This offer is for their Auckland store

BIOHANCE SKIN CARE PACKAGE

This has become a regular range for me- I was given a sample and got hooked- it’s really easy to use, and made here in New Zealand.

The range has both a male and a female side- but this giveaway is for what they call their duo: the Biohance Daily Wrinkle Release Serum and Biohance Night Repair Formulation

It’s like a bit of botox in a jar- it’ really does make wrinkles disappear, or notably reduce.

daily serumBiohance Daily Wrinkle Release contains a revolutionary biopeptide known as “Argireline® ” (Acetylhexapeptide-8), developed by Lipotec. This ingredient has dramatically changed the landscape of skincare. Argireline is considered as Botox® in a bottle as it has a similar effect without having to inject a toxin! Argireline works by interfering with the chemical transmitters at the neuromuscular junction, and therefore blocking muscle contractions. What we see is dramatic relaxation of the muscles associated with our wrinkles, and so the wrinkles smoothe out. Simple!

biohance night repairBiohance Night Repair Formula contains a revolutionary ingredient which is a biopeptide – an advanced protein molecule, known as Palmitoylpentapeptide-3. The trademarked name for this is Matrixyl™. It has been developed by Sederma to emulate our natural protein fragments which in the normal process of skin rejuvenation throughout our early years, stimulates the synthesis of new collagen fibres as well as glycoaminoglycans (extra cellular fluids within our skin and same shock absorbing gel we find within our joints). By applying this to our skin, we are replacing what the skin is losing its ability to do. This biopeptide does in our skin what our skin has always done naturally – stimulated collagen production through the presence of these protein fragments. The difference is now we can apply it from the outside and it acts at these base levels of the skin where this collagen stimulation occurs.

I have found these products feel really good on the skin. If you want to know more you can visit the Biohance Website

Try and have at least a couple of facials/massages a year dependant on time and finances, they feel so indulgent but are really such a necessity if you are feeling tired and tense.

  4. Vanessa says:

    Sorry, live in Auckland.

  5. Rebekah Joy says:

Heat up some olive oil, while its warming throw in some lavender, (rosemary if you like it or mint) while the room is filling with calming sent, take the time to have a nice glass of red….don’t let the olive oil get too warm! Take a wooden spoon and massage it into your legs, hands or arms…..it can also be massaged into your hair to make it full of shine.

  6. Harksgal says:

Wash my hair with pantene shampoo and conditioner and dry and straighten my hair with my ghd. Always makes me feel a new woman.

I live in Gisborne. A mud face mask, a glass of wine, and a hot bubble bath (with lots of bubbles of course), mind you this only works when the kids aren’t home. :)

I’m in Auckland and my idea of luxury is an evening at the circle lounge at the Berkley – a chick flick, a glass of bubbles, and the cheese platter. Not for every week or month – but a once in a while treat :)

  12. Jacqui Ranui says:

Bath & Book Night: 45mins away from the kids soaking in a bath with soy scented candles & glass of wine, then dressing in fresh flannette jamas & jumping into bed with fresh flannelette sheets & a good book!! Quite a rare treat, but I love!

  13. amie says:

  16. Tess says:

Currently I dont get a chance to have time to myself, Im planning my dream wedding on a budget with only a few weeks to go im starting to get nervous, but also so excited at the prospect of marrying my partner on our 15yr anniversary. While doing this Im also attempting to starting my own bridal hire business to give other bride to bes the opportunity to get exquisite gowns at a fraction of the cost. In between these 2 real busy things I am also working part time as a cleaner, studying at home in business admin and computing and raising 3 beautiful children. So what makes me feel luxurious? Doing all this and still finding 2 seconds to apply some lip gloss and straighten my hair! lol Thats all I have time for at the moment :-( I am from Invercargill also, so hope you still consider me for a prize :-) thank you

  17. Candia says:

Having a luxurious pedicure and slipping on a new pair of high heels :)

  18. AliasAlli says:

I use the strawberry body scrub from the bodyshop – I smell like strawberries all day (and not the nasty strawberry ‘flavour’ – the real stuff!).

  19. Helen says:

Currently, the one thing I get to do for a bit of luxury in my life is….blowdry my hair! Sad I know, but I feel like I’ve made a real effort if I’ve had a chance to blowdry my hair, put on some tinted moisturiser AND mascara. Admittedly, this only occurs about twice a month but I feel like a new woman with my hair all facing the same direction!

  20. Barb Robinson says:

Lounging in a spa bath with bubbles make me feel so refreshed:-)
I don’t live in Auckland, but could gift my prize to a special friend if that’s appropriate.
